Cleanse Juices: Nutrient Bombs in a Glass

Participating in a Cleanse is more than just about “juicing”. However, homemade juices are a fantastic way to pack a ton of vitamins and other nutrients into one small glass any time of the year. Plus they’re simple, require little planning, and take only a few minutes to make.

Did you know kale is one of the most nutrient-dense foods on the planet? When you pair it with other vegetables and/or fruits, you’re getting a nutrient-rich glass full of goodness!

And have you ever heard the phrase “eat the rainbow”? When you include several different colors of fruits and vegetables in your juices (or in your diet in general), you’re nourishing your body with a larger variety of vitamins and other nutrients.

Here are a few of my favorite juice recipes:

Cleanse Juices:  Nutrient Bombs in a Glass



2 apples
1 bunch celery
1 bunch kale
1 handful fresh mint

Juice all ingredients together. Add a squeeze of lemon.



1 bunch fresh basil 2 apples
2 cucumber
1 lime

Juice all ingredients together. Finish with a squeeze of lime.

1 head romaine 1 bunch celery 1 bunch kale
2 apples

1 lemon
2" piece ginger

Juice all ingredients together.
